  • How Is Eyeliner Tattooing Done?
For classic liner and winged liner, the artist will pre-draw, giving the opportunity to approve, putting nerves at bay. The actual tattooing process includes topical numbing to reduce or eliminate pain. Your artist will use a small, quiet, lightweight tattoo tool with very small needles. A first quick pass is made, and another application of numbing serum is applied. Working relatively quickly, the artist applies the tattoo, repeating numbing and checking symmetry often.
  • How Long Does Tattooed Eyeliner Last?
Eyeliner tattoos have permanence. However, like all tattoos, your eyeliner tattoo will fade, and the need for maintenance will become necessary. Most people opt to have their eyeliner refreshed every 2-3 years to keep lines sharp and bold in color. You can also build on permanent eyeliner as soon as the first tattoo is completely healed. If you start with lash line enhancement, you can add a wing or shadow later.
  • How to Prepare for an Eyeliner Tattoo Appointment
Proper preparation for your appointment is key to achieving the best results from your tattoo eyeliner appointment. Preparing for eyeliner tattooing is essential because it can help prevent complications or issues during the procedure. Proper preparation also ensures your skin is in optimal condition, which leads to a longer-lasting outcome. Prepare for your eyeliner treatment with these simple steps: Lash extensions must be removed at least 2 days prior to the appointment. No lash enhancement serums for 30 days prior. No retinol, acids, anti-aging, or acne products on the upper lid 30 days prior. No caffeine, alcohol, or blood thinners 24 hours prior. Do not wear makeup to the appointment. Bring a receptacle for your contact lenses. If you have a stye or any other sort of eye infection, you will need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Who Is a Candidate for Eyeliner Tattooing?
Everyone is a candidate, but there are some reasons a person may not be able to choose from all styles of eyeliner tattooing. These restrictions include hyper-vascular eyelids, thin skin, drooping/hooded eyes. The great news is that almost everyone can do lash line enhancement. The styles that go further onto the eyelid such as wing or shadow are more difficult to do on those mentioned above. The best way to determine your candidacy for style is to engage in conversation with our team. They will let you know what you can do safely with the desired end result. It is important to note that as we age our eye lid quality can change and so those seeking to refresh their look, may be restricted over time.

  • How to Prepare for a Lip Blushing Appointment?
Proper preparation is key to achieving the best results from your appointment. Preparing for lip blush tattooing is essential. It can help prevent complications or issues during the procedure. The right preparation also ensures your lips are in the best possible condition, which leads to a longer-lasting outcome. Prepare for your lip blushing treatment with these simple steps: Hydrate and exfoliate a few days prior. 24 hours prior, stay away from alcohol, caffeine, and other blood thinners. This is important as they can cause excessive bleeding, which can stop the pigments from setting. You should be free of antibiotics for 4 weeks and not pregnant or breastfeeding. Fillers or Botox around your mouth should heal a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of your lip blushing appointment. If you are prone to cold sores, please talk to your doctor. They can prescribe cold sore medication for before and after the appointment.
  • How Long Does Lip Blushing Last?
A lip blush tattoo cared for properly will last anywhere between 1-3 years. Lip blush tattoos are not completely permanent because our lips constantly regenerate. This is a good thing because as our lifestyles change, so do our lip colour preferences. For example, if you go from red hair to blonde, you may wish to change the undertones of your lips! You can apply a lip blush tattoo every 6 months after your initial appointment. A touch-up allows the ultimate flexibility for colour direction or sheerness level. While a lip blush tattoo can last for 1-3 years, lifestyle and skin type can impact how long the effects last. Things like smoking, sun exposure, excessively oily skin, exfoliation, and iron deficiencies can speed up the loss of colour. Also, those with dark lips or deep purple undertones may need refreshers more often to keep the colour strong. In these situations, having your lip blush tattooed every 6-12 months will keep those lips constantly beautiful.
  • 5 Benefits of a Lip Blush Tattoo
Lip blush is beneficial for so many reasons. Beyond helping you feel refreshed and youthful, it also brightens your eye colour! In some cases, it can even help teeth to appear lighter. Here are a few of our favourite benefits that often go unnoticed: Lip blush adds colour to the lips: Create a healthy, flushed look without pesky lipstick! Lip blush technique builds collagen: The micro-needling technique naturally helps build collagen and elastin into your skin. Lip blush reshapes and redefines: Reshape and redefine the edges of the lips. You can make them appear balanced, symmetrical, and larger if desired. Lip blush is minimally invasive: This tattoo technique is relatively painless and only takes a few days to heal. Enjoy all the benefits of lip colour longer term (up to 3 years) and no downtime. Lip blush minimises scars, pigment loss, pigmentation issues, darkening of the lips: Your artist can correct this with lip blush. This fun service helps those in need from dog bites, accidents and even those hoping to complete facial feminisation.
  • Does Lip Blushing Hurt?
Before your artist begins the lip blushing procedure, they will apply a topical anaesthetic cream to your lips. This prevents you from feeling pain during the process. Most guests do not feel any discomfort during the lip blushing procedure itself. Some experience a mild scratching or pinching sensation. For this reason your artist will offer ongoing anaesthetic throughout the procedure if required. With that said, all guests have unique pain tolerance thresholds. Our most sensitive guests rank the experience between 2 and 4 on the standard pain scale. Many of them rank getting a traditional tattoo much higher. In fact, several have said getting their eyebrows waxed was more painful! It is normal for your lips to feel sensitive for several days following your appointment. To reduce sensitivity, avoid hot drinks and salty, acidic and/or spicy foods.

  • Are Machine Nano Brows Better Than Microblading?
The machine tool used for nano brows allows the artist to create a hyper-realistic hairstroke that doesn’t go as deep as a handheld tool used for microblading and nanoblading. This means the risk of scarring and long term trauma to the dermis is minimal compared with microblading.
